What’s in a Name? A Little Growth, a Little Crookedness, and a Lot of Life

I've been asked to create something for our social media page. You know, some recent project or significant event, it'll improve the SEO or the CNN or something.

Well, the most significant thing that I've taken part in recently has been cancer treatment. It seems like I've reached an age where most conversations gravitate towards some health issue or injury. And no, we came up with "C" Consulting Engineers long before I discovered a lump under my arm.

Although it does make you wonder, maybe we should've stuck with our previous moniker - "Crecer Consulting". We changed to C Consulting because no one could pronounce "Crecer" (pronounced cressAIR). It's a Spanish word meaning "to grow". Although we are still growing. What's Spanish for "live a long, healthy life"?

It's a bit like I read somewhere that Cameron means crooked nose, and Campbell is crooked mouth. I reckon my jaw has always been a little uneven, but I was born with a nose as straight as an arrow. It stayed that way until an incident with my surfboard in my twenties. Despite my best efforts on the day, and the skilled work of the ear, nose and throat specialist with hands that could crack walnuts, it remains a little off centre to this day. You see, there we go, gravitating to tales of injuries.

Anyway, I'm off to enjoy a cold beverage with friends, maybe a glass of one of those green health drinks that I see getting around. Salud!
